Dear Amit,
Your blog is great. Your ideas are original and it is a pleasure to read your English. You added some nice effects as well. I am glad you learned some new things about blogs. I saw that you also helped other students and I thank you! Unfortunately I won't be teaching you next year so I won't be able to continue with this project with your class. Maybe I will try it in another class.
Your final grade is 98.
Yours,
Karen Noll Stanger

Reflection
I enjoyed the way we did this report. I sometimes like to write down stuff by hand, but i prefer to type on the computer since that way, I can finish the report faster. I think it was worth spending a lot of time in the library, because when i finished the work I have time to read and do other homework. I learned a few more things about blogs, and how they work, but I already new some of that before this report. I think you should keep doing this project next year, and the year after that, since many people enjoy working on the computers.

Diary
Jordan (forgot last name)
Motel, Second day of Road Trip
That was great. My brother and I just had a fight about mom and Courtney's dad, and now I have to stay at this crappy motel room. I hope Courtney's having fun with Lloyd, she can do whatever she wants for all I care. But I do care. God! My life is messed up, man. That's it, I'm done. I'm calling Courtney's dad and telling him that either he tell her or I do. It's over.

Bench, Second day of Road Trip
Well, I just finished straightning things out with Lloyd and am now sitting on a bench outside his dorm room. But, the weird thing is that Jordan is supposed to be with his brother, and the car just dissapered. Maybe it got stolen!!!!! How are we supposed to get to Boston tomorrow! My whole life will be ruined if we don't get there on time or at all! How am I supposed to meet cute sophisticated college guys and have intelligent conversations instead of talking about hardcore rap with Jordan. Oh gotta go, dad's calling me on my cell.

Bench, Second day of Road Trip
When I got here, Courtney was on the phone crying her eyes out. Her dad called her before I got the chance to tell her, and now, of course she won't talk to me. She just ran away yelling at me. I knew I should of told her the minute I found out. Now I'll miss her even more. I wish there was just a way I could tell her I love her, but she won't listen to me. I guess I have to let her go. I should never have gotten emoitonly attached to her.

A Different Ending
(Courtney is at college, sitting on a bench outside talking to her dad who tells her that he has been cheating on her mom with Jordan's mom for a while now, Jordan comes up to her when she is talking to her dad, and she is angry with him because he didn't tell her sooner.)
"I wanted to tell you Court, but I never found a right time to do it." said Courtney's dad on the phone.
"But how could you cheat on mom, I thought you guys loved each other." But before he could reply, Jordan came and sat next to her on the bench.
"Get away from me right now." yelled Courtney, walking away slowly, tears rolling down her eyes.
"Court, please I ne-"
"No, you could of told me the minute you found out, but you didn't."
"Courtney." said a someone right behind her. She turned around slowly, and there stood her dad closing his cell phone and stepping closer to her.
"I was on my way here the minute you guys left. I didn't want Jordan to harm you in any way, and when he threatned me and told me that if I wouldn't tell you the truth I just called you and made my way over here." said Courtney's dad looked sincerely sorry.
"You little, I didn't do to you anything! Your the one that sneaked around with my mom, and your the one that made me break up with Courtney, and your the one that wouldn't even tell your own family the truth! And I didn't threaten you, I told you either you tell her, or I will." screamed Jordan pointing a finger right into Courtney's dads face.
"Is it true daddy?" asked Courtney crying even harder this time.
Courtney's dad took a deep sigh and fell into the bench.
"Yes it's true. But I only did it to protect you. I didn't want Jordan here to make matters worse and I wanted to be the one to tell you everything, and I wanted to tell you my side of the story." He said to Courtney.
He reached over and took both of Courtney's hands and said "I love you honey, and anything that I did to hurt you, I'm sorry for it. But I know it'll take time to forgive me, and that's okay."
Courtney looked at her dad, and then at Jordan. She pulled her hands away from her dad.
"For now I just need some space and time to think about things. So I'm going back to my dorm and I guess I'll talk to you guys later."
"I wanted to tell you Court, but I never found a right time to do it." said Courtney's dad on the phone.

The Plot
In the book "Two-Way Street", Jordan and Courtney are seniors in high school going 0ut. They meat unexpectingly, and don't have that much in common, but they fit together perfectly. One day Jordan finds his mom with somebody else, and he doesn't find out untill later that the guy his mom was with is Courtney's dad. From then on, Jordan always wants to tell Courtney but he thinks she'll get angry with him, and mad that he didn't tell her the second he knew. So, instead of telling her, he breaks up with her, pretending he met somebody else on Myspace. But, before they broke up they planned to drive together to college, and even though they broke up, they still have to drive together for three days. At the end of the story, they forgive each other, and get back together.

The Setting
The Setting
trailblazer her room
In the book, it never says in what city or state they live in. But, we do know that they are driving to college in Boston. The main character is usually in the car driving with her ex-boyfriend, Jordan.
The car is a TrailBlazer, and has seven seats in it.
The story goes back and forth through when they met, and they are also a lot at Courtney's house. It doesn't give a very detailed discription of it, just the they have a kitchen, living room, and in her room she has a bed, desk and closet. They also stop at motels, and the college that they are going to.

Three objects that are important:
1. Their cell phones-they communicate with their friends, and Courtney's dad keeps calling Jordan (the reason they broke up).
2. The car-without it they wouldn't be able to go to college.
3. The guy with his underwear-he makes Courtney talk to Jordan and forgive him.
The Main Character
Courtney McSweeney
The main character in the book: Two way street is Courtney McSweeney. Courtney is 5"2 (even though she is 18) has long dark hair and blue eyes. Courtney can sometimes be shy in school, but when she's at parties she's not. She very smart, funny and not afraid to stick up for what she believes in.
The picture on the book doesn't really fit the description of Courtney, so i found this picture which I think resembled her better.

Courtney McSweeney
The main character is going out with Jordan, when he breaks up with her even though he doesn't want to (there is a specific reason that you find out later in the book). Then they must go on the road trip they planned to college together.
They're no web sites about Courtney McSweeney, only the ones that are about the book.
